Level 3 Award in Counter-Terrorism Protective Security and Preparedness
5-Day Course:
Competent Person in the Workplace (CPIW) qualification program is for candidates who are responsibility for the safety, security and management of venues, sites and organisations. This course will provide the learners with a better understanding of counter-terrorism (CT) in preparation for the implementation of the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025 (Martyn’s Law).
The awarding body for this qualification is SFJ Awards.

- Attack methodologies used by terrorists.
- Understanding CT threat assessments, mitigation strategies and effective applications.
- Developing CT risk assessment and preparedness plans in line national counter-terrorism good practice.
