We must receive full payment 10 days in advance of the first day of the course to secure your place. Places are allocated on receipt of payment.

You will be required to produce proof of identity for the course and examination.

Photographic ID will be required on the day of training – if you do not bring ID then you will not be able to sit the examination. A full list of ID will be sent to you on confirmation of the course booking. A passport or Driving license will be required.

The SIA will check your criminal record history for the last 5 years.

If you have any convictions, they will ask you to explain the circumstances and the SIA will decide whether to grant you a licence. Convictions within the last 12 months relating to violence, deception or theft are not usually considered acceptable.

Learners should have a minimum of Level 1 English language in reading, writing and listening.

Yes, all course days are set according to the awarding body requirements, some online learning will take place prior to the course.
