Laura Robinson

With 20 years’ experience in training and education within the further education sector, specialism in curriculum planning, funding, learner outcomes and delivering an outstanding education provision.

Previous consultancy roles include qualification development expert for awarding bodies and a technical writer.  I am excited to see the continued growth of the training centre and the development of our team.

What do you do in your spare time?

Relaxing weekends with my husband and 10 year old twins who keep me super busy! Much needed spa breaks, running and keeping fit. Would prefer chocolate over alcohol!

Furqan Liaqat

With over 12 years’ of experience in various corporate management roles. Mr. Furqan is responsible for the smooth running of the Capricorn’s training business operations, starting from supporting learners in booking relevant training courses till the end of its successful completion.

He assists trainers with any administration requirements and keeps detailed IQA and CPD records. Mr. Furqan has done his master’s in Business Analytics from the University of Essex. He is a person of dedication and perseverance and likes to complete his work with full motivation.

What do you do in your spare time?

Love to explore and travel to new places. Passion in gardening, painting abstract art, working with tools and feeling pride in repairing broken items, reusing and recycling stuff and plenty more! Likes to stay healthy with daily morning exercise, eating good food and most important thing, sparing sometime to remember God.

Matthew Clempner

Trainer and Assessor within the Police and Security Industry. For a number of years, I’ve been a professor of facility for IMAS experienced in specialist training programmes; including Close Protection, Spectator Safety levels 2 3 and 4. First Aid training. working within specialist teams on a National/ International basis. I am also a Technical adviser for the International Police Association Defensive Tactics Group.

What do you do in your spare time?

I am very active within the sports of Judo, Sambo and Ju Jitsu formally as a competitor (to Olympic and World levels) then as a coach. In 1990 I was awarded ‘International Master of Sport’ in Moscow currently I hold grades of 7th Dan in both Judo and Ju Jitsu.
