Level 2 Award in Low Airspace Awareness (Drones)
1-Day Course:
The objective of this qualification is to give learners introductory knowledge in Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS).
This qualification includes the understanding of following learning outcomes:
- the Drone Code
- what a drone is and how it works
- counter-drone technologies and measures to take
- legal and ethical considerations when encountering drones within low airspaces
- current and potential threats involving drones and low airspaces
- how to complete threat assessments and risk management in relation to drones in low airspaces
- the practical applications and the continuous development of low airspace security
Entry requirements:
To register for this qualification, learners are required to meet the following entry requirements:
- be 16 years of age or above
- have a basic level of literacy
The awarding body for this qualification is Highfield.
